Thursday Nov 3: mini quiz plate boundaries. Homework sheet#2 due today or Monday if we do not have quiz due to schedule.
Week of Nov 7-10: This week due to the Veterans program we are reviewing what was missed last week. We are finishing the theory of plate tectonics, learning about the boundaries and heat transfer. Continue to study list #5. Also study all notes E11, E12 and journal entries.
Monday Nov 7- Homework sheet #2 has not been given out. Technical difficulties. Study all notes.
Tuesday Nov 8- Homework Sheet #2 will be given on Wed and will be due Tuesday Nov 15.
Wed. Nov 9- quiz on list #5 on Wed Nov 15. At that time list #5 will be fully grades. Definition should be done; however, illustrations should be done by Tuesday.
Thurs- NOTE: Homework sheet #2 was not given out this week due to technical difficulties. Happy Veteran's Day Holiday

Week of November 28- December 2
Monday Nov 28- we are studying volcanoes and earthquakes. List #6 given. due Friday. Test soon
Tuesday Nov 29- students received the ocean location study sheet. There is a quiz on this Friday Dec 2. Please study and know how to spell each ocean.
Wed- Nov 30 Students will receive the ocean subtopography study sheet. They need to study and memorize this sheet. Test next week.
Thursday- Have list #6 done, due tomorrow. Study locations for quiz tomorrow and subtopography for next week. The test on lit #6 has been moved to next Tuesday Dec 6.
Friday- We have continued to study volcanoes (types) and earthquakes( faults, epicenter, focus) this week. (Hot spots of Yellowstone and Hawaii)
Week of December 5-9
Monday Dec 5-This week students are having a test on list #6 on Tuesday Dec 6. We have studied Tsumanis and how they relate to underwater landslides, volcanoes, and earthquakes.
Tuesday Dec 6 test list #6 We are studing the ocean floor and connecting the features to plate tectonics. We will have the subtopography quiz next week. (E14). Students have a new list #7 on oceans that they need to complete by the end of next week (12/16).
Wednesday Dec 6- continued review of ocean floor and major concepts of rock stress and faults ( candy modeling)
Thursday Dec 7-Dec 8 - density and how it affects ocean water (egg and salt lab)
Early next week they will receive the study guide for the exam. All missing assignments should be turned in as soon as possible. Please illustrate vocabulary words.

Wednesday Dec 14: continued concepts of the ocean (composition of water- salinity and density. (continue to explore evaporation and condensation of the water cycle)
Thursday Dec 15- Tides- currents- vocab check for list #7 Friday or Monday.
Friday Dec 16- diagram quiz on ocean floor (subtopography) and water cycle diagram and water cycle vocabulary.
